This portion of the site is dedicated to the members of the ships crew that helped build the 658 and prepare her for her commissioning into the United States Navy. Locating Plank Owners for any ship is no easy task. Of the 260 men listed as plank owners we have located about 35%. Some have gone on to finish Naval careers, some moved on to civilian life and, sadly, others have left us forever.

Through the generous donations of photos and memorablia from some of the plank owners, I am able to provide an area that I hope will show our appreciation. Had these men not performed their duties with the highest form of professionalism required for such a task, the 658 may not have been there for us to sail aboard during her 30 year career.
